Actually, this unit is composed of 5-6 independant modules. So the answer is yes, it can be configured as you wish.

Question: Does this include the drawers and shelves?
Answer: Yes it came with everything you see (but the clothes). Well worth the money

Question: Is this adjustable for any walk in closet
Answer: Kind of , got 5 pieces you can move around but the corners need to be on the corners obviously

Question: what is the assembly like on these units?
Answer: Very detailed and clear instructions. Can be assembled by one person but easier if 2 people do it together.

Question: How wide is it?
Answer: This is a modular unit. Some pieces are 24" and some pieces are 36", there are also two corner units. The nice thing about it being modular is that you can lay it out in any way that you like. I hope this helps.
